The Italian Law n. 52 of 6 March 2001 recognizes the Italian Bone Marrow Donor Registry, located at the E.O. Galliera Hospital in Genoa.

The art. 8, comma 3 defines the followings:

"The money donation given by individuals/companies to the E.O. Galliera Hospital in Genoa, finalized to the activity of the National Registry, could be deducted from the income taxes for a maximum of the 30% of the due gross tax, in presence of the adequate documents attached to the declaration".
