IBMDR has the purpose of providing to haematological patients waiting for a transplant, without the ideal donor (an identical sibling), an unrelated volunteer with immunogenetical characteristics that may allow a treatment with high chances of success.

The Italian Registry is a WMDA Accredited Registry and ISO 9001: 2000 certified.
